Mr. Sessions was put into a situation many substitutes wouldn’t care for and showed us more than geometry, he showed us how to deal with anything that is thrown your way. With the time I had with him there was never a dull second. Mr. Sessions was more than a substitute, he was a friend and forever will be, My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Sessions. I had him in class last year, he was our “permanent substitute” when one of our teachers quit at Ardmore High. He was such a nice man, one of my all time favorite subs. Every day he would bring a lunchbox full of goodies and left over food he would give me. And when I would ask for more he would always say, “I can’t give you anymore, gotta save some for the grandson!” He was definetly a man that I look up too! So sorry for your loss, he will be missed!

I had the opportunity to meet Berry years ago. he was the most kind and considerate man that I have ever met. I don’t believe that Berry ever met a stranger he would talk to anybody about anything he was so nice and polite .I know that he will be truly missed he was a terrific man God bless the family and I’m praying for you all.

I have know Berry for a few years since he began substituting at Ardmore Middle School. We spent time talking about gardening while at lunch. Also seen him at the Chickasaw Farm to Table market during the summer. He was always talking about the berry and how he enjoyed picking them with his grandson. So very sorry for your loss, he will be greatly missed. Prayers for the family.

I have known Berry since I was 9 years old at Wilson Grade School in OKC. We went through Junior High and High School together at The Classen High School . He was like a Brother to me and I loved him very much. Few people can claim a long term friendship as we had . Our parents were close as well. We were family! God bless you and may you now rest in peace. Love, Kathy Hull Whittle
