Donna LaNette (Rushing) Culp-Morgan-Cunningham, 59, of Tishomingo, OK went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2017 in Tulsa, OK.

LaNette was born on August 31, 1957 in Tishomingo, OK to Stanley Rushing and Wyvonnia Culp. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tishomingo.

LaNette graduated in 1975 from Milburn High School. In 1978 LaNette became an LPN and was a practicing nurse for many years, until she and her husband Shakey joined the trucking industry. They traveled the country visiting each of the lower 48 states multiple times. But what they really loved to do was to find the perfect fishing hole and spend hours there together. After losing her husband, best friend, and partner in 2002 LaNette returned to health care serving others as a home health nurse.

LaNette loved her family, loved giving and loved making others laugh. Some of our most treasured times with her are the family get togethers at Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. LaNette always brought laughter and joy to all of these events. She was a true delight to be around. Next to those things, her dogs and various other animals were a large part of her life. LaNette loved caring for all animals and her dogs brought her much happiness.

LaNette is preceded in death by her husband, Roger "Shakey" Morgan, her father, Stanley Rushing, and her grandparents Calvin and Almeda "Bug" Sliger and James and Allie Rushing.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her mother and step father Wyvonnia and Claude Culp of Tishomingo, two step sons Kevin and Amy Morgan and Jason and Angie Morgan of Tishomingo. Brothers and sisters in law Kip and Ethel Rushing of Tulsa and Stacey and Claudia Rushing of Broken Arrow. Step brothers and sister Howard Culp, Harvey Culp of Tishomingo and Linda Duke of Ardmore. LaNette leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and will be missed dearly.

Services will be held Saturday, March 4 at 11:00am at the Fillmore Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Russett Cemetery.
