Herbert “Herbie” Elton Beesley Jr. passed away on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at his home in Ravia at the age of 69 years, 11 months, & 3 days. Herbie was born on December 27, 1946 in Hinton, OK to the late Herbert Elton Beesley Sr. & Bernice Ilne (Masingale) Beesley. Herbie was raised in the Hinton, OK area where he attended Hinton Public Schools. He later moved to Johnston County where lived the reminder of his life. Herbie had many qualities about him that his family says they will hold on to for many years to come such as; His love for music, Herbie had a passion for music. He always had music playing, and he loved George Jones. He also enjoyed noodling, fishing, and he loved to play pool. Herbie was an expert at cutting down trees. He could lay a tree down exactly where he wanted to. Most of all Herbie was a great family man, a great dad, & a great husband.
