Roger Hallmark of Ravia, OK was welcomed into Heaven by his Lord & Savior on April 25, 2018 at the age of 81 years, 11 months, & 15 days. Roger was born to the late Whitmore Hallmark & Sarah (Elizabeth) Hallmark on May 10, 1936.
Roger moved to Johnston County from Texas at the age of 10. He lived in Johnston County for the remainder of his life. He attended & graduated from Ravia High School. He went on to attend Murray State College in Tishomingo.
Roger worked as a hair dresser & a rancher. He was an extremely talented hair dresser & he had a great passion for his cattle & horses. Roger was of the Baptist faith & was a longtime member of the Ravia Baptist Church where he led singing for many years & sang in the choir.
Some of the other interests that had were, first & foremost his love for God, he loved Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, & dancing. Roger loved his family & friends dearly. Roger had the ability to make everyone around him laugh, Roger loved life & he lived it to the fullest.

Funeral services to honor Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2pm at the Ravia Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Hartwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Ravia Cemetery with Shea Nanney, Rick McLaughlin, Dodie Nanney, Roger Lynn Nanney, Debra McLaughlin, Dwayne Akins, & Colten Myers serving as pallbearers. Kenneth Akins will serve as a honorary pallbearer. Services have been entrusted to the care & direction Tishomingo Funeral Home.
