Wendyl B. McGehee of Derby, KS was born on August 04, 1940  in Ravia, OK to the late Arvel K. McGehee & Dorothy McGehee. He passed from this life on October 08, 2016 in Wichita, KS at the age of 76 years, 2 months & 4 days. Wendyl was raised in the Ravia area where he attended Ravia Public Schools and graduated high school. 

Wendyl worked as an Aircraft Tooling Engineer for the most of his working life with his most recent career being at Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth, TX where he worked for 16 years until his retirement in 2003. Upon his retirment from Bell Helicopter Wendyl moved from Fort Worth to Derby, KS where he lived for the remainder of his life. 

Some great hobbies Wendyl enjoyed were; playing cards, fishing, sitting in his recliner & watching Oklahoma Sooner's Football. His family says these are just a few of the many memories of Wendyl that they will share for many years to come.

Wendyl leaves behind to cherish his memory:

Son:                           Steven McGehee and wife Mydelyn "Mai" 

"Mai" had grown very close to Wendyl over the last year, spending a lot of time with him running errands for him such as going to the store and picking up any item that he may have needed. She also would go over to Wendyl's house and cook him lunch and sometimes she would go over just to talk and visit with him.

Daughter:                  Tammy Morgan

4 Granchildren:        Brandon, Niki, Tanner & Emily

2 Great-Grandchildren

Wendyl also leaves behind many other relatives & friends.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday October 22, 2016 at 12:00 pm in the Ravia Cemetery with Bro. Justin Hartwell officiating. Inurnment will follow at the conclusion of the service.
