Bill Warden of Ravia passed away into eternity with Jesus on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at his home at the age of 84 years. Bill was born on May 28, 1934 in Johnston County near Tishomingo to the late John Franklin Warden and Bonnie Bea (Long) Warden.
Bill moved to Garvin County at a young age where he settled in the Wynnewood area. At age 17, Bill answered the call to serve his country. He joined the United States Navy on February 19, 1952. Bill served in the Navy until his honorable discharge on May 27, 1955. After his discharge in the Navy Bill received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Medal. Bill retired from Kerr McGee in 1984 after 29 years of service.
Some of the many hobbies that Bill enjoyed were, gardening and would provide vegetables to his neighbors and his church family. Bill also had a passion for fishing, and would give his fish to his church family, friends, and the Ravia Fire Department. Bill loved his dogs dearly. He also had a love for buying and trading cars.
On September 09, 2003 in Mannsville, Bill married Joyce Anderson. A union that would last the remainder of Bill’s life.

Funeral Services to honor Bill's life will be held on Monday, January 14 at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church of Tishomingo with the Reverend Luke Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in the Mannsville Cemetery with Military Honors provided by The Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard and The Patriot Guard Riders.
