Rita Gay Glover of Tishomingo returned to her heavenly home on January 07, 2018 in Denison, TX at the Texoma Medical Center at the age of 80 years, 2 months, and 4 days. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her and ultimately gave her peace.

Rita was born to the late Walter and Gertrude (Brantley) Connelly, in Oklahoma City, OK on November 03, 1937. She was immersed in the Christian community which would be her lifelong support from an early age. Rita was blessed with a large and loving family. She married her best friend, Bob Glover, on June 17, 1961 in Wheeler, TX. Rita helped raise her three children with patience, discipline and humility.

She was kind, an amazing wife, and a great mom and grandmother and she had a love for bears. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Rita is survived by her husband, Bob of the home; her son Terry Clark and wife Kristyne of Ashburn, VA; her daughter Gina Goris and husband Don of  Grand Rapids, Michigan; son-in-law; Rodney Gaskins and wife Terry; her grandchildren Brooke and Josh Dale of Edmond, OK.; Kaylynn Creighton of Los Angeles, CA.; Brandon Casada of Hempstead, Texas; Talon Gaskins of Phoenix, AZ.; Summer Fleming & husband Cecil of Conroe, TX. Her great grandchildren Zoey and Ace Fleming, and Kasen Dale. She is preceded in death by her brother, Gene Connelly; her parents; and her daughter, Robbi Gaskins.

Services to honor the life of Rita will be held at the Central Church of Christ in Tishomingo, OK, at 2:00 pm on January 12 with graveside internment to follow in the Troy Cemetery in Mill Creek, OK. Ron Hutchings will officiate the service.
