Memorial Services for longtime Johnston County resident, William Robert Black will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 3 pm in the Minnie Hartwell Memorial Chapel in Tishomingo with Bro. Justin Hartwell officiating. Private inurnment will take place in Dolberg Cemetery in Murray County.
William was born in Tishomingo on May 15, 1947 to the late Wille and Molly May Black. He passed from this life on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his home in Tishomingo at the age of 71 years.
Mr. Black lived in the Johnston County area all of his life where he worked in construction pouring concrete. Mr. Black enjoyed hunting and fishing, raising animals, and he loved taking walks through the garden. He also enjoyed watching storms, being outdoors, hanging out with his friends and dancing. Most of all he loved his family and was the greatest dad anyone could have ever asked for.
