Cheyenne Star Basham
Tishomingo, OK- Cheyenne Star Basham was born June 24, 2002 at Arlington, Texas to Cody Basham and Marsha (Burns) Basham and passed from this life on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at OU Medical in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the young age of 18.
Cheyenne was raised in Texas until the age of 11 when her family moved to Tishomingo. She attended Ravia and Tishomingo schools. Cheyenne was an artist and loved to draw all kinds of pictures. She also enjoyed playing video games and being with her nieces and nephew. She loved her ducks and all animals. Cheyenne’s family was everything to her.
Cheyenne was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Leonard Burns; great grandmother, Ola Genell Pendley; and cousin, Violet Sky Burns.
She leaves behind her loving family, father and mother, Cody Basham and Marsha Basham; step-dad, Charles Carter of Tishomingo; sisters, Krista Nash and husband, Bryan of Tishomingo, Jessica Basham of Marietta, and Annie Boykin of Tishomingo; brothers, Jack Lamb of Arlington, TX and Noah Boykin of Tishomingo; maternal grandparents, Nora Burns of Ft. Worth, TX and Rosemary Pagent of Wynnewood, OK; aunts, Jamie and Ashley Burns of Tishomingo, and several nieces and one nephew.
Memorial services to celebrate Cheyennes’s life will held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December, 5 in the Tishomingo Funeral Home chapel. Ashley Burns, aunt, will be the speaker.
Services are under the direction of Tishomingo Funeral Home.
