Current Services

Martin Joseph Tasos, 59 of Tecumseh, Oklahoma left his earthly home on November 2nd, 2022 at St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  Martin "Marty" was born March 22, 1963 in Torrence, Ca. to John Tasos and Joyce (Stone) Tasos.  He grew up in Bakersfield where he was raised by his mother and step-father, Bill Johnson.
Marty later married Lorie Thomas and from this union, two children were born.  Marty and Lorie moved to Oklahoma in March of 2022.  
He worked as the area sales manager for Ridley Block Operation for a number of years.  Marty also judged livestock and was part of the Fresno State Livestock Judging Team.  He raised purebred Hampshire hogs. Marty enjoyed working with livestock and passed down the love of working with animals to his children.  He also loved to fish and was good at it.  Marty and his son, Blake enjoyed fishing trips together and he loved going to Shasta Lake.  In the evenings, Marty enjoyed sitting by the fire pit listening to Merle Haggard songs. 
Marty was preceded in death by his mother and step-father; and a brother, Gregory Tasos.
He is survived by his wife, Lorie Tasos of the home; brothers, Mike Tasos and Matt Tasos; son, Blake Tasos and wife, Kayla of Moore; daughter, Lindsay Henricks and husband, Braden of Perkins; grandson, Carson Henricks; and a granddaughter, Holly, who is due to arrive in February of 2023.
Graveside services will Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Bold Springs Cemetery in Milburn.
