Savannah Rashae Edwards left her earthly home on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 26 years, 5 months, and 29 days. She was born February 13, 1996 in Ada, Ok to Cindy Edwards and David Wayne Edwards. Although, she was born the day before Valentine's Day, she was still her Mom's little valentine.
Savannah was living in Mannsville, Oklahoma at the time of her death and had been there close to a year. As a child, she lived in both Davis and Ardmore. She later graduated from Ardmore High School. Savannah had a passion for helping people and went on to Southern Oklahoma Technology Center where she received a certificate in phlebotomy and also a CNA certificate.
Her most recent job was at Dollar General Distribution Center in Ardmore. She worked in repack and Non-Con. Savannah was a kind soul and left her mark wherever she went. She will be missed by her co-workers.
Savannah was so full of life and always had a smile on her face. Her boys were a huge part of her life and she loved spending time with them. Anyone who ever met Savannah could never forget that smile she always had on her face. Breaking horses was something Savannah enjoyed doing as well. She was a country girl at heart and loved being outside. She enjoyed going to the lake, swimming, camping, and cooking on the grill. Savannah was a really good cook. She was also known to be a dare devil and never one to back down from a challenge. Savannah's high energy, smile, and kind heart will be missed by many.
She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, sons, Hunter Cole Morgan and Tony Dean Higginbotham; parents, Cindy Kenyon and husband, Cory of Kingston and David Wayne Edwards and wife, Amy; brother, Cory Groves of Arkansas; sisters, Holly Keeler and Marilyn Gamm.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Savannah will be Friday, August 19th, 2022 at 10 o'clock am at Oakview Baptist Church in Madill (Oakland) with Bro. Paul Priest officiating.
