Dean and I treasured the notes and emails we got from Bob. Our times together at The University of Oklahoma Writing Project events were always special because of Bob. We were in awe of his energy and knowledge which he freely and generously shared with everyone.
Fortunately, we got to meet his beloved family at Bob and Louise's wedding anniversary celebration. Please know we share your sadness at his passing and will treasure his writings and memories. Sincere condolences to the family he loved so much.

I have travelled al over the world and without a doubt, Bob Wyatt was the best friend one could hope for, a man of a hundred talents and who could crowd at least 34 hours work into any 24 hour day. Bob had a marvelous sense of humor and patience with people. His enthusiasm for life affected everyone around him was reflected in all the plays that he directed for the Harvest Playhouse were he was able to get well over half the population of Grandfield to participate, including me! He will be missed as a friend and a driving force wherever he lived.

Louise, Bobby, and Melanie, we are so sorry and so shocked to hear about Bob. He gave me one of the greatest gifts in life I have ever had by involving me in ACT II and giving me the opportunity to do something I had only dreamed of. Jim and I will always treasure our time with the theater and with Bob and Louise. Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt sorrow for you and yours.
